Óscar Andreo
I started in the world of cinema and advertising in 1995, as an electrician, after finishing my FP2 studies as a specialist technician. In 2006, I started doing my first jobs as Gaffer, to this day I'm still at it. In my beginnings it was very different from the current times, it was shot on 35 mm film. or 16 mm. The camera diaphragm was set according to the photometer reading. And now it's all digital and is recorded on a memory card. Today, I continue to work as a Gaffer, with very different people from all over the world and each project becomes an exciting challenge, collaborating with the DOP's, to design a beautiful light in our work, helping and contributing my acquired knowledge to the over the years.
In my work as Gaffer, I like to have everything organized and controlled, I like the good treatment and respect of the team members of any department, to create a good atmosphere and harmony on the set. It is a pleasure to collaborate and contribute to what I do best, to illuminate different film sets, in order to obtain a beautiful final result through light.
